about this poster

Cycle touring poster on a coastal road, “OPEN ROAD”

With his bike loaded with leather panniers, a cycle tourist rides along a coastal road high above the sea. Rocky coves open up below, and a lighthouse stands on the headland. This landscape-format bike travel poster shows cycling as a way to discover the world, unhurried, at the pace of the pedals. The open road, the sea and the lighthouse make an image of freedom. The title “OPEN ROAD” refers to the road stretching out ahead, a promise of miles and landscapes.

A bike journey for the office or living room

Full of momentum, it fits in an office, living room, entryway or bedroom. Its horizontal format sits well above a desk, a sofa or a console. It pairs with leather, wood, metal, road maps and white or light blue walls. It can complete a wall of cycling or seaside posters. It makes a ready-made gift for a cycle tourist, a traveler planning a bike tour or a friend who has already covered thousands of miles with panniers.
