New Orleans French Quarter wrought-iron balconies poster

New Orleans poster, French Quarter balconies

Beneath the title “NEW ORLEANS”, a street in the French Quarter lines up pastel-colored townhouses. Their wrought-iron balconies, delicate as lace, overflow with ferns and hanging flowers. A gas lamppost stands in the foreground, to the right of the cobbled street. This New Orleans poster captures the charm of the American South through its architectural details and abundant greenery. The soft colors of pink, cream and pale yellow, under a light blue sky, give the scene a gentle, slightly nonchalant feel.

The charm of Louisiana for a living room or entryway

In portrait format, it hangs well in a living room, an entryway or a bedroom, and its pastels suit white, pale pink or sage green walls. It pairs nicely with wrought iron, hanging plants, rattan and weathered wood. It can join other American city or jazz posters for a travel wall. It’s a gift for a jazz lover, a traveler back from Louisiana, an architecture enthusiast or anyone who dreams of road-tripping through the American South.
