Lac Blanc and Mont Blanc massif in Chamonix poster

Chamonix poster, hiker at Lac Blanc in summer

It’s summer at Lac Blanc, above Chamonix. In the foreground of this poster, a dense alpine meadow, pink rhododendrons and dark rocks. A hiker in red sits on a rock, face in profile, looking out over the landscape. The dark blue lake reflects the mountains, and across the valley, the granite spires of the massif rise under a cobalt blue sky. The vertical composition invites you to take a break alongside him. The title “CHAMONIX” is printed in the spirit of illustrated travel posters.

An alpine hiking poster for the living room or office

Its deep blues, greens and touches of pink suit a living room, an office, a bedroom or an entryway. Its portrait format lets it slip between 2 windows or into a hallway. It pairs well with light wood, linen, wool and fir green tones, and the hiker’s red can echo a bright accent piece. Surrounded by other summer mountain posters, it makes a hiking-themed wall. It would make a lovely gift for a hiker, a trail runner, a Chamonix lover or loved ones who have made the climb to Lac Blanc.
