about this poster

Dax feria poster, the matador facing the bull

This Dax poster takes you to the heart of the arena: on the pale sand, a matador holds his cape before a black bull in full charge. All around, the stands are filled with a crowd dressed in white and red, the colors of the feria. The arena facade, red and white with Moorish-inspired arches, frames the scene. The title “DAX” accompanies this suspended moment, drawn in flat areas of bold color where red dominates.

A Southwest France poster for the living room or an aficionado

With its vivid red and vertical format, it gives character to a living room, dining room, entryway or bar. It pairs well with raw wood, leather and white walls, and can join other posters of the Landes or the Basque Country on the same wall. It makes a perfect gift for a native of Dax living far from home, a lover of Southwest France, an aficionado or a group of friends who never miss the Dax festivities.

Your questions

What does the “DAX” poster show?

It depicts a bullfighting scene in the Dax arena: a matador facing a charging bull, in front of stands filled with a crowd in white and red and a facade with red and white arches.

Who should I give this Dax feria poster to?

It will delight someone from Dax, a lover of the Landes and Southwest France, or a bullfighting enthusiast. It also recalls the atmosphere of the white and red festivities for anyone who has been there.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
