Basque sheep’s cheese and black cherry jam poster

On a wooden board, a wheel of Basque sheep’s milk cheese shows a neatly cut wedge. A jar of black cherry jam keeps it company, a nod to the gourmet duo beloved in the Basque Country. In the background, sheep graze on soft green hills, as if to show where the milk comes from. This Basque cheese poster plays on cream, wood and green tones, in a simple, appetizing composition. The missing wedge reveals the creamy interior of the cheese. The title “MOUNTAIN CHEESE” accompanies the scene.

The gourmet Basque Country for the kitchen or as a gift

It looks right at home in a kitchen, a dining room or near a cheese and wine corner. Its cream and green tones pair well with a solid wood table, striped Basque linens, stoneware dishes or a white wall. It can join other Basque Country or regional food posters. Give it to a cheese lover, a Basque family living far from their hills, a cheesemonger or friends who often host cheese board evenings.
