Boy with a red floppy disk outside a computer store poster

Proud as can be, a boy holds up a red floppy disk as he walks out of a computer store. In the window, beige computers and boxes of colorful floppy disks stand in rows. The cobbled street runs toward a tall brick tower topped with a clock, where a passerby walks off into the light. The title “Never Forget” accompanies this floppy disk poster, a loving nod to the early days of computing, painted in salmon pink, teal blue and brick. The portrait orientation strengthens the perspective of the street.

A geeky wink for the office or the bedroom

In portrait format, it fits easily above a desk, next to a shelf of video games or in a teen’s bedroom. Its salmon pink and teal blue tones go well with light wood, painted metal and collectible tech objects. In a game room, it will amuse anyone who knew the first computers. It makes an original gift for a developer, a geek, an early computing enthusiast or a collector of old machines, for a birthday or a first job.
